I didn't take a picture of a fully assembled low beam, it has another cover that goes over everything to keep the wet/dust/dirt out.
One thing to note is that the reflector is different below and above the cut-off plate. The good news is that it means the cut-off plate isn't eating very much light, the bad news is that you can't modify the beam pattern in a useful way very much. I do wonder what it would be like if the cut-off plate were polished on the back, or if it were deliberately deformed to act as a reflector or something.
