Granola
Ingredients
- 4 Cups rolled oats (not quick oats)
- 2 Cups almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc. (8 oz.)
- 6 Tbsp. dark brown sugar (⅜ Cup)
- 6 Tbsp. honey (⅜ Cup)
- 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil (¼ Cup)
- ¾ tsp. salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 300°F
In a large bowl combine the oats, nuts, and sugar.
In another bowl combine honey, oil, and salt.
Mix each up well, then combine the two in the large bowl.
You might want to get your fingers in there to really evenly
distribute everything.
Bake for 45 minutes in two sheet pans, stirring every 15 minutes to
get an even color.
