(condensed a bit) Her: (in an a very nasal southern drawl) Hello, I'm calling for the gallup poll. If I can take a couple minutes of your time, would you mind answering some questions about your long distance carrier? Me: Um, Ok, Her: Could you tell me how long you've been an MCI cusomer? Me: Well, we don't really use MCI... Her: Who do you use now, and has your company every used MCI in the past? Me: No, not to my knowledge.... Her: Is your company planning to switch to MCI in the future? Me: Not that I'm aware of. Her: Do you find MCI to be accurate and concise? Me: It's hard to say, we don't use MCI. Her: Are you satisfied with your MCI service? Me: Well, if I had MCI service, I might be able to answer, but I don't. Her: What aspects of MCI service have you found most rewarding? Me: Ummm... Do you know something I don't? These questions seem to be following a particular theme... Her: Ok, that part of the survey is finished anyway. On a scale of 1-7, how would you rate the importance of: (a bunch of things) Me: (a bunch of ratings from 1-7) Her: Ok, have you ever had trouble with blah, blablah, bla MCI blah, blah blah, or MCI blahbla bla? Me: Wait.... Are these questions still assuming that we use MCI? Her: Well, um... Yeah. Me: Well, we don't use MCI. Her: Oh. Ok, ah, thank you, bye... *click*
