This test was done with the stock lines, but with the three hose manifold detached from the lower triple clamp, and the triples lowered (forks raised) to get me enough slack for everything to fit.
You can see from the first picture that there's no way that these hoses would reach without being tight.
I did my best to route the hoses like they would when attached.
Like the last test-fitting the bike is on a pin type front stand to make sure the lines will fit when the suspension is at full extension.
You can see from the 4th picture that the hoses are kinda tight.
One thing I think is bizarre is that they put a 20° end on the hose to the right caliper, but a straight one on the hose to the left.
This means you've got two options:
1) make the hoses swap places at the master cylinder (left and right). or
2) make the right caliper's hose bend away from the centerline of the bike.
I think both of these are stupid, especially since the stock line bends towards the centerline.
Since the stock lines will fit (although badly) and the Spiegler lines won't, I have to assume that the Spiegler ones are shorter than the stock ones. This is bizarre because they're labled as +1" over stock. I even called and asked them how long they were supposed to be, on the off chance they messed up and sent me SV-s lines. Nope.
for the record, what I got are:
30", with two 20° ends
32", with one 0° and one 20° end.
and that's for +1"!
The stock rubber lines from Suzuki are 18" (lower) and 13" (upper)
